This summer I will be working in Uganda, and am taking advantage of the fact that I have to fly through Europe to go backpacking on my way back to the U.S. for a few weeks. I am a college student and have done plenty of traveling, but this is my first adventure without my parents planning everything. I will be meeting a few friends in Switzerland, but as the most experienced traveler of the group, I've been put in charge of planning! We will meet in Zurich, and eventually make our way to Munich. When researching things to do, I found Drei Schwestern in Liechtenstein. I love to hike, and am making this a priority for my trip. However, there is very limited information online about it. I was wondering if anyone had hiked it before, or had any advice. I want to go to Liechtenstein the night before, stay overnight, then get up the next morning and hike, then probably stay another night and go to Munich the next day. I would like to figure out where to stay (what city) and how to get to the start of the hike (bus route, etc). If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated!

If you google it in German and type in "drei schwestern liechtenstein wandern" you'll get a lot of hits. Most of them will be in German but some have a little British flag up in the corner and it will switch to English. This might be helpful?

And, if you find a page that's only in German that you want to look at, you can go to http://translate.google.com/ You paste in the URL of the page; it's supposed to auto-select the languages, but I find it works better if you select them (in this case, German into English). The translation is very approximate, but it often is sufficient to get the job done.

You might also find relevant info or contact links with the Liechtenstien Tourist Information Office. Happy planning!
