Dr scholl's gel inserts in Paris where can we find them?

Help! We are in Paris and our feet are killing us. Does Anyone know where we can find them?

Thank you

Just go to the Pharmacy Green Cross sign and ask them they may not be Dr. Scholls but they will have something similar.

I'm sorry your feet are hurting...

You also might be able to find something in a "grandes surfaces" store. I think they are called, carrefour, leclerc, auchan. I believe they are similar to our "Target" stores.

I hope you don't find this question rude, but I'm on the hunt for appropriate non-ugly shoes for Europe (non-ugly and comfortable don't seem to go together very well), and would appreciate it if you'd be willign to share what shoes you had that obviously didn't work out too well.

A couple other ideas that might help alleviate your foot pain is to (1) soak your feet in Epsom salts; and (2) fill the tub/basin with COLD water and soak your feet for under 10 minutes (if you can stand it). The cold water will help bring down any inflammation.

Thank you for responding. The pharmacies only had dinky insoles designed mostly for odor. I will look for one of the other stores.

My husband is wearing upper end new balance walking shoes and I'm wearing new balance running shoes. We have tried other walking shoes on other trips with the same result. It doesn't seem that walking causes the sore feet as much as standing in lines. Stopping to look in museums tended to make them sore. Of course we were in the Louvre for 9 hours yesterday.

I've heard really good things about New Balance shoes.

I imagine standing in one place on cement is really tough on your feet.

One other idea, if you can't find squishy insoles, might be to find padded socks for runners in a sports shop (or the Nike store, which I think is on the Champs Elysee).

Good luck. I hope that you're still able to enjoy your vacation.
