I have downloaded Ricks Paris historic walk and Louvre tour onto my Ipod classic. The maps that come with these tours have downloaded onto my computer but not onto my Ipod. Does anyone know why? It is probably something really simple, as I am a techno idiot. It is also unclear if downloading the maps would even be useful as the size would be so small.

Using iTunes, plug your ipod classic into your computer. Click on the icon of your ipod on the menu on the left of the iTunes window. In the body of the iTunes window, you should now see all the tabs for the various things that can be loaded onto your ipod (music, video, photos, etc.) Click on the photo tab. There should be, among your photos, the maps you are looking for. Click the check box next to those photos and then hit Apply in the lower right corner. They should then synch with your ipod.
However, I have never owned an iPod classic, so I don't know if there is a quirk with these (I have nano's and touches). I also don't know what quirks might apply if you are using a non-Apple computer. I only use Apple.
Maybe someone else knows more...
