Favorite site for figuring out dollar conversion of Europe & Eastern European countries... I can't find the one I used to use... Thanks
Yahoo finance
Thanks... just what I was looking for.
Rick recommends www.oanda.com
Thanks... like the little cheat sheet on oanda. Euro is easy enough... but I am going with people to Czech, Budapest, Vienna, Poland and later to Turkey & Greece, so I might need help keeping this straight... back to the ziplock bag days before the Euro.
Terry kathryn, I usually use www.xe.com for calculating exchange rates when at home. It's very easy to use, and the home page can be configured to show a variety of currencies. When I'm travelling, I have an App. for my iPod Touch that really works well! If I have a Wi-Fi connection I try to update it every morning before I got out touring. The App. provides a box for entering the local price, so I can see what I'm actually paying in my home currency.
Vienna, Austria uses the Euro, too.
