Does Rick still pay for passport for people who sign up for one of his tours that have never had one?
If so, has anyone done this? Wondering if you just emailed the company a copy of the receipt . I have emailed the company but waiting for reply.

Good question. He did so last year, even had a contest to pay for 4 people to get passports even if they were not taking a tour with RS. But I can find no mention of this option anywhere in current web pages.
Perhaps he will also pay for the visa?
Update:
Per email from RS company:
"Thanks for reaching out. We do indeed pay for first time passports. If you have one, just send us the proof of payment of the passport (usually totals to about $135) and we can deduct that amount from your final balance. If you have any further questions, please let us know. "
MrsEB, not business; a much higher calling for a greater cultural understanding leading to eventual world peace.
"Final balance" of what?
And as cynical as I am..... I agree with James.
"Final Balance" for the tour you will be taking with the Rick Steve company to use the passport he is graciously paying for.
Personally, I am grateful. It's my choice to take his tour and this is a "bonus discount" they do not have to provide.
And yes, let's have world peace.
