am going to italy next week, can i use my discovery card?
I have yet to find locations that accept Discovery card. Better plan for alternate.
I have never seen a Discover card logo in any part of Europe.
By the way, although it is sloooowly changing, Italians don't really like taking any kind of card, unless you are in an area that is pretty touristy.
Most likely not. Discover uses its own network and I am almost positive that the network is not available in Europe. At least I cannot remember seeing any signs for Discover Card.
If you're talking about the Discover card, you will have a difficult time finding merchants that accept it. It hasn't penetrated very much into Europe.
By far the most widely accepted cards are Visa and Mastercard.
Not much.
Mostly in Europe you can use Visa and AMEX.
No, you can't use Discover cards in Europe. From their website:
"Where can I use my card in Europe?
"You can use your card everywhere you see the Discover acceptance mark or the Diners Club International acceptance mark.
"Use your card everywhere Diners cards are accepted in the following countries: Portugal"
As far as I am concerned, this means you can not use Discover in Europe. Make other arrangements.

I doubt it, you can't even use it in Canada.
