Should be there. On the local scene we have had a lot of action. Sold our house in 34 hours so it appears that we will be homeless for about eight to ten weeks. Since we have to live somewhere, giving serious thoughts to spending a month or so in Europe. Will be interesting to see what the problems are/will be with planning a major trip with less than month to work on it. May test some theories about cheap air fare in the two weeks prior to departure. This will be fun and cheap since we have no living costs in Denver.

Wow, Frank, that's great news about your house selling so quickly. And great fun to have a last-minute month-long European trip to plan. I'll be at the meeting and will bring my much-maligned packing cubes so everyone can see how handy and really cool they are.

Want me to bring my packing envelope and had a face down?

Maybe we should change the meeting time to high noon.

Frank, I'm happy for you, but mostly jealous ;-) Now that's "footloose and fancy-free" LOL! Charlene - you win. 'Nuff said. And I've used both forever...But there's room for both...fancier things lending themselves to wrinkles (suits, dress shirts, nice dresses) Stay Put in the envelopes/folders, but I've started traveling with things that aren't so fussy. In that case, it's all about the cubes. Besides, with a full bag and compression straps, cubes are just about as good as the envelopes/folders. And I'm shaving the ounces where I can... "High noon"...heh-heh. Good one, Lee! You may need to take this off of Panera premises - you'd hate to lose your Panera 'Helpline lease' ;-)

Just to complete the show 'n tell, I plan to bring my bag with mesh bags. So, for once we'll have some travel skills demonstrations. Too bad so many people have already sent their regrets. But Charlene, I didn't "malign" packing cubes, it's just that they are kind of big. Most of my clothing would fit in just one cube. That wouldn't be much in the way of organization.

Most of my clothing fits in one cube, too, but it would take several Ziploc bags. I like the idea of all-in-one, and the weight difference is negligible. I want to like the millions of mesh bags I've received from RS over the years, but they snag soooo easily, and my stuff gets caught on the mesh. I'm not into beauty contests or anything, but...it's Ziplocks for my mesh-bag things. Is this a good bump? ;-)

Dang! I always wander onto this thread about 3 days after you guys meet. One of these days I'm going to stop into one of your meetings to glean some knowledge. Maybe next time....

I'd love to make one of your meetings someday also. Maybe it will coincide sometime when we have business in Denver

Excellent. Thanks, Lee (and Frank, for the PM). That's within a week of my wife's due date for #2, so I may miss that one as well. At least now I know when you guys meet, and can try to make a meeting.
Hope to see all of you soon!
