Okay, so I'm not living in Aurora anymore but I'm visiting a friend in Colorado Springs and there's a slight chance I'll be coming through Denver on Saturday. I never made it to a meeting while I lived there but maybe now's my chance. So, are foreigner's welcome? lol

Nancy, I'm sure 'foreigners' are fine. Don't worry about converting your money ahead of your trip; just use any ATM you come across in CO and that will be fine ;-). Don't forget your money belt...and keep a close eye on your belongings - I've heard a thing or two about That Colorado Bunch that meets at Panera.

Congrats, Mimi! Now another reason to visit CA. You'll have to schedule a return trip through Sacramento sometime...

We'll be a little late tomorrow -- probably around 10:30. Just learned that our granddaughters' basketball season starts tomorrow. The 6-year-old has her first game, which we can't miss. We'll see you afterward!

Charlene, I've watched 4-year-olds 'play' soccer; I imagine 6-year-olds playing basketball will be similar LOL! Get some video!

Just wanted to say thanks for letting me join your meeting and put some faces with names from the helpline. Got to meet Lee, my favorite train guru who helped me immensely with my Central Europe rail trip this past summer.

@Eileen - I took your advice and used an ATM in Colorado Springs before heading up to Denver and had no problems being a 'foreigner'.

It was great to have a foreigner here, Nancy, and fun to meet Jill as well. Thanks for joining us!

I agree it was really fun to discuss travel with others who are as enthusiastic about it as I. I also really enjoyed putting names with faces and picking Lee's brain a bit:)
