Denver started the 3rd Saturday thing. In Sacramento we decided to follow their lead. Atlanta went along with both us. I think there was a meeting in NYC on a Friday night. As far as I can tell it was their only meeting. Moral of the story...groups MUST meet on the 3rd Saturday of the month, preferably at the Panera of your choice! Choosing another day dooms the meeting to failure. :-)

There is nothing magical about the 3rd Saturday and Panera. One day I noticed that Frank was near me and posting a lot, so I suggested we meet. The next convenient time for both of us was the next Saturday, the third that month. Aspen Grove is kind of between us and there is a Panera Bread there. Since then it's history. When they make the movie, I want Al Pacino to play me, and Catherine Zeta-Jones can be my wife (my wife is also a brunette).

I had expected to have five today, including Charlene and Suz. They didn't show up but the addition of Carla and Rick was a pleasant surprise.
