I bought our tix on my Delta skymiles credit card. We both have skymiles. If I now upgrade our seats using miles, will the miles come from MY account since I purchased the tickets or will they come from each person’s skymiles account?

They will be from your account. However, your + 1 will have the reservation in his/her Skymiles account and he/she can check to see about an upgrade there. If an upgrade is possible, the miles would be drawn from his/her account.

I can definitely upgrade myself without my partner. I’ve done it.
So did you include both frequent flyer numbers in the reservation. . If not, you. have to call and get that done if you want to do this. You may also have to call and ask them to help you do this. It seems like I had to get them to do it for me, but they could do it easily.
