I'm not sure this is a fare drop, let's just say its airfares lower than what I typically see. I just purchased tickets for main cabin (Delta, changeable) from Minneapolis to Rome, for February 2025, for just under $900. That's fairly good for Minneapolis. Sharing in case others what to check flight pricing.
FYI--also checked for the same time period for New Zealand or Australia and the fares were still high (IMHO) Also still "high" is Minneapolis to Oahu for March.
Yes indeed flying from Detroit to Milan for roughly the same price.
We fly Delta also out of Detroit. Wow….$900 to Milan is a great price! We too are waiting for reasonable fares to NZ/Australia for this March 2025. We are waiting tho after our big European trip Aug/Sept. coming up.
We are booked on Delta for July. We fly from NY to Barcelona and our return flight is from Milan back to NY. We also paid about $900 for main cabin, which I felt was fairly reasonable considering we were flying into one city and home from another. Most other flights I looked at were about $1300 for the same route, including luggage.
