December Travel in Bavaria, Austria and Prague Itinerary help!

Hi there!
We're travelling to Europe next December for 16 days (14 without travel days). We are planning on Munich, Romantic Road region, Salzburg/Halstatt region, Vienna, and Prague. This is not our first Europe trip, but will be our first visit to these places. Planning on five days in Munich with a day trip to the Romantic Road area, two days in Salzburg/Halstatt area, four days in Vienna and three days in Prague. I just feel like this might be a bit too much in too little time. If you think so too, would you recommend cutting Romantic Road or Prague? Other suggested changes?

Things we are most interested in (in no particular order):
Christmas Markets
Opera/Musical concerts
Art/Museums (but not Medieval)
Trying local food/beverages
Palaces/Chateaux (1700 forward)
Non city countryside
At least one concentration camp

My favourite museum is in Vienna, the Military History Museum. They have a great exhibit on WWI and artifacts. Plus it was great learning about a land locked country’s former navy. And the physical building itself is spectacular.

Dachau concentration camp is just outside Munich.

Bratislava Slovakia is apx 40 min drive from Vienna. Nice little city.

I hear Nurnberg has the best Christmas markets. Also, in Rothenburg is Kathy Wolfart Christmas store and Christmas museum. I was and the Heidelberg store this summer and purchased a number of ornaments and wished I had more now that they are in display in my home.

Passau, Germany is definitely a consideration. I stoped in for a day. It’s where 3 major rivers meet and it’s was a good stop between Cesky Krumlov back to Munich.

Cesky Krumlov, Bohemia, Czech Republic is my favourite fairy tale town. Perched on top the hill is an awesome castle. Very colourful.

Kutna Hora just outside Prague is like a mini Prague without the crowds and very sleepy/quit in a great way.

All highways are double lane highways l. Exception is a bit single lanes secondary highways in rural Czech Republic.

I would say your trip is doable. In 2017 we did a similar trip with a one and three year old. We flew into Munich. 2 hr drive to Salzburg side trip Hallstatt (2nights).

Drive to Lake Bled, Slovenia 2nights, 2 hours. Drive. Budapest 3 nights with 5 hours drive. Stayed one night in Brno Czech and visited Bratislava to break up drive. Drove 1.5 hrs to Kutna Hora. Stayed in Prague one night (third time there so not much time needed). Cheeky Krumlov three nights. Back to Munich 2 nights.
