Have never taken a tour. Am considering one of Rick's tours. On average, what time do the tours meet in the mornings to get started?

Usually around 8 to 8:30 with breakfast starting around 7:30. Some exceptions. Most tour companies are about the same.

I have taken 5 RS tours and am booked for my 6th this October to Turkey.
I would say, in general, the start time is about 8:30 am, either to go on a walking tour of the city/town, etc. or to board the bus, if it is a tour with multiple destinations. On some of the tours, you will have a "vacation from your vacation" day thrown into the middle of the tour and you can start the day when you desire. Of course, you always have the option to not participate in an activity, you just need to inform the guide.
The tours pack in a lot and I have found that I see and do so much more on a tour than I would be able to do on my own. I love the tours for this reason. Then I can go back to certain favorite places and go at a slower pace.

I've only taken one tour. As I recall the regular start time was 8:30 each morning. That was when you were supposed to have eaten breakfast, moved out of your room and on the bus ready to go.
