Due primarily to the Lehman Brothers collapse and Meryl Lynch merger with Bank of America, the markets are in turmoil. As a result of this, the Euro has risen to between $1.44 and $1.45 to the dollar mostly overnight from a low of $1.40 a few weeks back.
