Croatia & Slovenia guidebook advice

Hello. I would like to visit Croatia & Slovenia this summer and was going to purchase the RS guidebook for my iPad through Kindle. Though it appears that the last Kindle edition was in 2010 while the latest RS guidebook in print was published in 2012.? Does anyone know if there's any content difference between the two.. as I'd prefer to get the Kindle version than pack another book. Thank you.

Just got back from Croatia & Slovenia on Sunday. I used the previous edition (2-3 years old?) for my planning over the winter months, as the new edition only came out a few days before we left. I did pick up the new (print) edition to take with us (I also has the e-book version on my iPad as a backup). I did notice some differences between the two versions (old versus new, not paper versus digital). Before I bought the updated book, I checked the availability of the digital version, and there was a generic statement saying that the electronic versions usually are available a few months after the print versions. I think its worth the extra cost/weight to have along the most recent version of a guide book, and am glad I brought along the new analog version.

Thank you for the kind reply. I was hoping to just buy the kindle edition for the ipad, but it sounds like a good idea to purchase the book for any updated info. Thanks,
David
