small businesses like bed and breakfast dont take credit cards in denmark, some shops also dont take them either.

Some small businesses in my home town of Montreal don't take them either. I expect some small business in Uniontown, Pa, don't take them , just as small shops & restaurants in Rome do not. They can't afford the whatever percentage the credit card company takes.
