Just returned today from a 2 week trip to Switzerland that we have been trying to make for a year……we were so determined to see this one through and felt like Switzerland would be a relaxing place to go now. My opinion from what I saw was that all of the document and QR code prep is totally dependent on the agent/waiter/clerk you happen to get. I really think the KLM agent that looked over our negative covid tests this morning in Zurich as he gave us our boarding passes barely looked at our hard copies-we had agonized over getting them at the right time, emailing them correctly to us, etc……and we had one mountain waiter at a small restaurant at Kleine Schdiegg turn us away even after offering our passports/CDC vac cards because we did not have our QR codes on our phones……….he could have cared less that we had Vac cards……..Delta wanted attestation forms today to board in Amsterdam and those were the first we completed for this trip. It seems some are picky and others could care less……just what you get out there. I am not downplaying the importance of it all……just saying it seems very iffy depending on who you see!
Seems like a metaphor for the whole COVID thing.
Just got back from Poland. Flew a KLM/DELTA codeshare. Agreed!
But you had a great time, right? And you were ready for anything! In Italy now they look at our Swiss-issued QR code and ID but they don’t scan it.
We did have a great time and it was so worth it……would do it again in a heartbeat. Just hope you get a nice agent/waiter that is kind and understanding….that is the key.

back to the US.
Sort of a Federal requirement. Turkish Air collected them as well.
Since COVID began I have been in 8 countries. With a little extra planning and a little additional care, nothing has been horrible to overcome. Its not for everyone but it isn't as bad as it sounds sometimes. I think in about 7 weeks of travel I had to show my CDC card three times (other than airports).
Wasn't the attestation form something like check the box and sign? We had to do that in Amsterdam and show the completed form as we boarded. It did seem a little silly especially since we had already done something online with Delta (no we didn't have a cold, symptoms, etc.) but it was easy to accomplished.
