Could it get rainy in Sep this year in France and Italy?

So far the weather shows good temperatures unlike the scorching heat of June, July and August. What are the chances of rain though during early Sep? That's when we are travelling.

Sonia, no one can possibly answer your question, but I am thinking you already know that.

I used to live in Seattle. When we first moved there, someone said, "Around here, if you let the rain stop you, you're never going to do anything." It turned out to be very good advice.

Yes, it could but might not get rainy. The best you can do is to research the averages for your destination(s) to get a feel for what’s typical and then check the forecast right before you go. There’s a good link in the FAQs you can use.

When I am planning a trip I go to Weather Underground wunderground.com for detailed weather info. Look at the Travel and Activities tab, go down to Trip Planner. There you can type in your trip destination and the approximate dates you will be there and it will show you very detailed weather statistics from previous years.

As a Seattelite, you should know to just assume it will rain, bring your rain jacket, and not worry about it :)

Just be prepared, bring an umbrella or rain poncho. Dress in layers for comfort. I went to Paris in Sept and I was fine with a denim jacket and a pashmina that I used either as a scarf or wrapped around me for additional warmth. It did rain lightly so the umbrella came in handy.

It doesn't rain much here in Italy in September, you should be ok. Can't speak for France.
