Costa Brava /Barcelona Spain

I am going to visit Barcelona mid april and would like to hear suggestions about Costa Brava- I will be relying on Public Transport and would be also interested in hearing from anyone that traveled to any of the Islands off of Barcelona. Thanks

I was in Barcelona in April last year. We went up to the Costa Brava, but by car. We went to Tossa De Mar. I was absolutely beautiful. I do not know about public transport up that way. But I recommend a trip that way. Happy travels. Barcelona is great. -Kim
