Copenhagen lodging

Has anybody used the Bed & Breakfast Denmark business that Rick recommends? Or have another not-too expensive option well-located?

We chose to stay in Hotels, after pricing the B&B, because they are a relatively good value in the summer months. We stayed at Hotel Phoenix and Hotel Opera. Hotel Phoenix because the Strand Hotel, which we had booked, was full. They sent us to their sister hotel the Phoenix. The hotel was fine, higher stars than Strand, and had one of the best breakfasts I've had anywhere in Europe. Opera was a little run down but otherwise fine. The service at all three was very good. All three are walking distance from Koenigs Nytorv metro station, which is at the north end of the Stroget adjacent to Nyhaven. We paid $125 per night for a double including breakfasts (breakfasts aren't normally included in the room price) at both hotels.

Hello. My husband and I just stayed at the Radisson Blue Royal Hotel, Hammerichegade 1 at the end of September. There are two Radisson's, but this one is rated better. It is directly across the street from Tivoli. We could watch all the going-ons at Tiovli and the fireworks. The hotel is centrally located. We also ate the at the Hard Rck, right across the street (right outside of Tivoli). We ate at the hotel for breakfast, but it wasn't included in our price. The restaurant has a great view of the street and all the people, baby carriages, bicycles, etc. going by. We could walk everywhere from the hotel. We absolutely loved having a room on the street. The room was very quiet, large and comfortable. We would definitly recommend this hotel. You can earn Radisson hotel points there, towards your future visits at any Radisson hotels in the world.

Hi Rebecca, We'll be in Copenhagen the end of May for a few days and found it difficult to find reasonably-priced accommodations. For our dates, it's difficult to find anything less than $200. One that I considered was Omena Hotel but the reviews on Trip Advisor weren't great. We booked at Copenhagen
B & B but it's $144 per night with a shared bath.
