CPH-LGW-LAX Security/passport control?

Hi,

Just wanted to double-check...If fying LAX-CPH on the way to Europe and CPH-London (Gatwick)-LAX on the way back...I will go through security and passport control in Copenhagen I imagine. Will I have to go through all again in London?
I am a bit worried about the 2:10 hour layover in London (Gatwick) as it is such a busy airport...
All flights with Norwegian so it does help a bit.

Thank you!

COP is an airport serving Cooperstown, NY so that threw me for a minute.

Fortunately you also mention Copenhagen - CPH.

I also needed to check up that Norwegian uses London Gatwick - LGW. All their flights use the South Terminal. You will need to go through security but there is no need to go through immigration, presuming any checked bags are tagged right through.

Thank you so much! Typed my post way too fast... :) You are correct I mean Copenhagen CPH and London Gatwick.
I really appreciate you taking the time to reply...so 2:10 hour for layover seems more doable now I guess.
Thanks again!

At your origin airport, check that your luggage is tagged to the final destination and be sure you have both boarding passes. When I've gone through Heathrow it's always taken close to 2 hours, so my guess is that Gatwick will be easier. You go through a passport check and a security check. If the line is slow or your flight is late, don't hesitate to approach one of the airport personnel and explain your short connection. They will usually make an effort to move you to the front of the line. Also be ready for the security check (computer out, 3-1-1 bag out, dump any liquids you may have taken off the flight).
