Converters & Adapters in Europe

We are traveling to France, Germany & Italy. I have a plug adapter with 2 round pins and a Hi-Lo converter. The converter is heavy. Do I need to take them both? We have a shaver that says it's compatible for worldwide voltage, a curling iron that says 120/240V AC on it and a camera battery charger that says 100V-240V AC on it.
Thanks for your help!

From your description it sounds as if you can leave the heavy converter/transformer at home. This subject has been discussed in detail on the helpline recently. You could retrieve these discussions by using the search box (upper right corner), searching on an appropriate word such as "adapter" or "converter."
