Has anyone flown Condor Air recently? If so, how was your experience? Any recommendations what airlines to fly out of Sicily?
Thanks, Judy
Any recommendations what airlines to fly out of Sicily?
Destination?
Seattle, WA
I have used the Condor SEA-FRA roundtrip for my last two trips in March 2025 and July 2024. I built these trips around the flights. The 2025 trip was for a job fair in London. We took the train from FRA to AMS, then Eurostar, then flew to Ireland and back to FRA. The 2024 trip, we stayed 3 days in Germany, flew to Belfast and did 12 days in Ireland, parted ways (my friend to Vienna and me to Edinburgh) and met up for our flight home from FRA. That time, I was able to buy business class with my Alaska miles. Alaska has changed its mileage chart since then. In 2025, I paid cash for premium economy. Obviously, the business class trip was more comfortable, but premium economy was fine for the price. I'm both tall and plus-sized, and I can't fly coach for 9 hours. Condor has very good prices. I had no issues with lateness or lost luggage or anything like that.
Next trip will be in business class on WestJet out of Vancouver (which is closer for me, anyway).
Two years ago, my husband and I flew Condor in Premium Economy, round trip from Seattle to Frankfurt. We didn’t connect to an ongoing flight, so I can’t speak to that.
All in all our experience was fine. The plane was fresh and new. Check in was easy on both ends, the flights were on time and the gate agents and FAs were helpful and professional. Food was forgettable. Out of Seattle, they were very strict at the gate about weighing everyone’s carry-on luggage and required gate checking if it was even a tiny bit over the limit.
Delta is my first choice out of Seattle, but we’d fly Condor again if they had the best connection and price.
Last year we had a transatlantic with Condor - extra space economy seats. Would do it again. Food was airline food, staff was nice, entertainment fairly up to date.
Thanks everyone for the very helpful information!
