I have a pair of Clarks Wave that I wear around. They are comfortable, and I can walk in them all day, but they are not as comfortable as my Clarks Unstructured shoes. I only bought the wave because when we were in the US for vacation, they didn't have any black Unstructured in my size. It takes a little while to get used to the feel of walking in the wave, and it most certainly didn't end my back pain like promised (I don't wear them every day because I think it actually makes my back hurt). So I would recommend them only if you are going to get a chance to wear them at home for a while, and if you are bringing a 2nd pair of shoes on your trip.

I wear Clarks Unstructured loafers most of the time, but for our daily two mile walks I a-l-t-e-r-nate between Clarks Wave and some Saloman lace up walking shoes. All of them are comfortable. The Wave ones are a bit disconcerting at first, since the soles are definitely different from most shoe soles with that "upturn" at the front.

I used to be a big fan of Clark's shoes and have worn them in Europe, where I did a LOT of walking on uneven surfaces, cobblestones, etc. Very very comfy, and took a lot of rough treatment. If the Wave shoes are anything like as sturdy and comfy as the originals, I would say 'go for it.' They look better, that is for certain.
