Am blocking time in Stuttgart, and can't decide if we need two nights or three.
On the first day, we arrive from Strasburg by train, so should be ready to explore the Stuttgart markets/ area by around noon.
The second day, I want to go to the Esslingen markets, [about 15 minutes by train?] and maybe to Ludwigsburg [ opposite direction, another short train ride]. Is one market better by day, the other by evening? I believe the lights in Ludwigsburg are notable. Is the Palace worth a visit? Is that too much in one day?
The third day, the BMW museum in the morning, then train to Rothenburg.
