My family and I will be in Paris on Christmas Eve and are looking for a good, reasonably priced (and hopefully non-touristy) brasserie for Christmas Eve dinner. Any suggestions? Thank you!
You may want to ask your hotel to make reservations for you at a good nearby brasserie, as some places close and others get packed with tourists (not all Americans, by any means....plenty of French tourists seeing the big city too). RS book has lots of suggestions and is absolutely worth buying. I would personally recommend any of the following: the Brasserie at the end of the Isle st Louis facing Notre Dame; Chez Plumeau on Montmartre, Brasserie Bofinger in the marais, and ...a very simple place for crepes and omlettes and etc..Cafe Nectarine in the Place des Vosges.
