I just received my dvd today and i only own a xbox 360. i put the dvd in and it my xbox would not read the disk. Anyone else have this problem with any of rick's dvd's and an xbox 360. and yes it isn't the blue ray version and yes i tried other dvd's to make sure my xbox is not broken. xbox can play any type of dvd north american format

Either your DVD is defective, or there is something different about it that makes it incompatible with your xbox. In the Rick Steves travel store, it says that the Christmas DVD is designed to play in any region. Perhaps that format might be slightly different from a DVD that is formatted to play ONLY in the north american region, and that's the problem?

an xbox 360 is a proper dvd player and is better than most shelf dvd players you can buy
