We will be in Switzerland and the Scandinavian countries and our kids would love to visit some big playgrounds or parks with children's play areas where they could meet other kids. Any recommendations would be welcome! Thanks!

In what cities will you be staying? Here are a couple of suggestions for Stockholm: A playground is a lekplats or parklek in Swedish. There are quite a few at various parks in Stockholm. One that is fairly central is the playground at the large park called Humlegården (http://tinyurl.com/8939xuy). Also in Stockholm is Junibacken. This is a place that has stories and activities based on Astrid Lindgren stories. Another option is the amusement park called Grona Lund. Also, Skansen has a zoo and often has special children's activities on the weekend.
