Check out this summer's itinerary

Took a while to stitch up, but feeling great about the coming trip!

I fly to Frankfurt for five night of cycle touring before my family arrives. Cycle touring itinerary is still open. Might head toward Heidelberg, or hilly gravel highlands of the Rhine and Mosel.

Then:

Family arrives Frankfurt. Meet them with car. Drive to Tannheimertal.

Tannheim 4 nights in apartment.

Check out some castles on drive to Ulm. Drop car Ulm.

Ulm 1 night.

Train to Brussels. Pick up E-Bikes for family in Brussels. Ride to Aalst.

Aalst 1 night. Ride to Ghent.

Ghent 1 night. Ride to Bruges.

Bruges 2 nights. Ride to Middelburg.

Middelburg 1 night. Train part way, then ride to Antwerp.

Antwerp 2 nights. Ride to Mechelen. Train to Brussels. Return bikes. Train to London.

London 4 nights apartment in Kensington.

Family by rail to LHR, flies home.

I spend 7 more nights cycle touring England. Not sure where yet, need to lean on our British forum friends to plan a bit. Will post in England sub-forum soon.

I fly home from LHR.

You never know how it will be until you are in the midst, but I'm digging the flow of this trip. Start with 4 nights apartment chill in the Tirolean Alps, then some cycle touring with two built in lay days, then a 2 hour train to LONDON, where a comfortable apartment awaits our dirty laundry for 4 nights. All good stuff!

If you can thing of fun things to do along the route please suggest :)
