Cheapest destination cities

We are going to Europe 5/21 - 6/1. We need to be in Brugge Belgium 5/28 - 6/1. We thought we could find a bargain flight to another city in Europe.
Any thought about the best bargains for flights to Europe.

I thought I would add a question about how to search on the internet for flights without a specific destination. Just time, low cost fare and Europe.
Thanks

check out www.skyscanner.net,

you input the date you want, and can choose any airport or city, or just choose europe as a whole, and it will give you a list of flights based on price. I did a trip during my first spring break where I just booked trips based on price, and it worked out great, I ended up in Krakow, Poland; Milan Italn and Edinburgh Scotland, and they were all fantastic.

Kayak.com has a service where they will email you a daily report of the top 5 cheapest flights to Europe from your home airport.

London's likely to be your cheapest destination from Austin. With your times, I find Delta at $695 all in....not a bad deal! They're offering the same thing from San Antonion if you don't get the flights from Austin (both go to Gatwick)

After you chose which city you want to fly out of, you then choose as your incomming city "any city"

Sometimes I use ITA software as a starting point (http://www.itasoftware.com/). Once I go to the site I click on "Search Airfares" and then just click "Log in as a Guest." You can do a search for individual dates or a month-long search. It gives me a starting point for which airline websites to look at.

Cologne and Düsseldorf aren't too far from Brügge and they've got direct connections to US cities... Maybe you can find a good deal on one of those...

Austin to Clogne was a little cheaper. I decided to go ahead and book the flights before they went up any more.
We are getting excited.

Kayak was a good suggestion. I even found great deals on Expedia!
I also live in Austin, and it's so hard to get cheaper flights from here. If you can get to Dallas or Houston would be easier since they are hubs. But, so far I've been very lucky to get good flights out of Austin. Just takes a lot of time researching!
Nice to find another person from Austin. I've lived here since 1990 and love it. Like the new airport too!
I'm going to Milan Italy in November and got a great package deal with Expedia.
HAVE A WONDERFUL TRIP!!!
Please keep in touch!

Good advice here. Just remember to consider the time and money you will spend getting to Brugges from a remote city, if that is where you fly into. Could be that Brussels or Amsterdam will be you best bet after all.
