Last summer we stayed in the least expensive Paris apartment I could find online and it was a little over $100 a night. Paris has great places to get prepared food inexpensively, so we didn't cook much, so the apartment kitchen advantage was largely unused. We had wanted a washer/dryer since we had spent the previous week in Greece. However, it was this weird little w/d combo that took many hours for each load, which we ended up not using much anyway. Also, since it was a budget place, we had to clean it ourselves (most places have a hefty cleaning fee.) Most apartments have a 7 day requirement, making you pay for additional days whether you use them or not.Next time we go to Paris we will just stay at The Tiquetonne hotel again for about half the price. The Tiquetonne was much nicer and cleaner than our musty, tiny apartment. But maybe other people have had better experiences. I'd love a better Paris apartment recommendation myself!
