Cheap B Class from NY to London or Paris

We are always complaining about high fees and the cost of business class. Just stumbled across this web site. It borders on too good to be true. I think it is a new startup flying only business class between NY and London or Paris with cheap promo fares. At a $1000 RT to London business class was too good to pass up. We are going May 13 to the 31. Hope it is legit.

The web site requires patience to use. They have a bunch of little tiny, light blue boxes that are hard to see that must be checked before moving to the next screen. I am assuming luggage charges and perhaps meal charges. That was not clear. It is booked in Euro so the good exchange helps a lot. They do use Luton in London and Newark in US but for a $1000 can live with a few inconveniences. I don't normally use travel insurance but I am this time since they are only flying one plane a day.

This may be the record for quick decision to go. We did a trip a couple of years ago with about six hours lead. This went down in less than 30 minutes. Getting more decisive in my old age.

"Getting more decisive in my old age."

Me, too ;-)

Thanks for being the guinea pig! I know you'll let us know what you think of La Compagnie after your trip.

Interesting, a business class seat for roughly the price of a coach. Let us know how it went.

I will. We do have to get to Newark but it looks like about $300. So the whole deal will be less than a RT from Denver.

This reminds me of when Open Skies started flying, although they were not this cheap. Hope it goes well. Business class is the way to fly for us older folks on long-haul flights. You arrive in good shape, ready for the day.

We are preparing. I am taking a parachute as carryon. If I don't use it, I can use it as a pillow.

Thanks for sharing this and we'll look forward to your observations. It's much easier to get an award travel to the east coast than it is to get one internationally. My husband is past the stage where he can go coach for too many hours either comfortably or safely, so we're always looking for the best deal.

La Compagnie was in the London paper on Friday, with photos and everything. Apparently they are offering a business model similar to another which has worked, and dramatically undercuts the British Airways Business only special 32 seater to Paris.

The plane to Luton is all lie flat seats.

It looks nice.
