Charging ipods and cell phones

This question's probably been asked a million times but I'm going to ask again...forgive me!

I'm traveling to London. I have an ipod shuffle that obviously does not have a wall charger. I have a different brand wall charger that my shuffle dock plugs into. On the back, it says the voltage is from 100-240 (I think). Would I be ok plugging my shuffle dock into the wall charger, then plugging the wall charger into an adapter???

Also, will most cell phone chargers work in London with the proper adaptor?

Thank you!!

Absolutely it will work - just get a plug adapter for your charger and it will work as normal. Your charger has a built-in power transformer, and as long as it says the 100-240 AC and DC, you are good to go.

Melissa,

First of all, it's important to confirm that the Wall Charger for your IPod IS rated at 100-240 VAC. If that's the case, then you'll just connect the Charger to the outlet using a UK-style Plug Adaptor.

Regarding your Cell Phone Charger, you'll need to also verify that is designed for 100-240VAC. Again, if that's the case you'll just need a Plug Adapter.

You'll also need to determine if your Cell Phone will work in London? If your home network is AT&T or T-Mobile and your handset is a quad-band GSM Phone, it will work in Europe. Were you planning to use roaming with your home network, buy a travel SIM or buy a SIM card when you arrive in the U.K.?

Good luck and happy travels!
