Rick Steves recommend bringing things like GameBoy and ipods for your kids in Europe. What do you need to charge the GameBoy? Is it enough to have the adapter plugs or do you also need a converter?

Linda, most of the new electronics are geared for dual voltage. However, if you are not sure, use the converter.

Last year when we went to Europe, we brought 3 game boys for our children. The charger that originally came with the (US- purchased GB's were not dual voltage. So I had to purchase a dual voltage gameboy charger (on E-bay). In addition, I needed the adapters to fit the plug in the country you are in.
