Charging a cell phone

Do I need a different charger than the one I use here in the States to charge my phone in the rental car? I know I will need an adapter for the hotel or B and B, but I thought it might be nice to have another option.

Cars in all countries use a 12 volt electrical system so your US charger will work just fine.
