Chargepod Charger

So many of us carry numerous small electronics--cellphones, ipods, pda's, digital camera's, GPS, etc. And then, of course, we have to take the chargers along.

I found a universal charger that will work here and in europe, and will charge six items at a time. (Helps cut down on weight and space having to carry only one.)

Chargepod

For Europe, all you need is the adaptor plug for this one device. works well for rooms lacking in electrical outlets.

I can hear the big question being asked. No, it will not charge notebook computers.

Stupid Question coming up: I've never travelled to Europe and this whole adapter/converter thing is baffling to me. With this Chargepod do I need a converter as well or will my IPod not explode in Scotland if I just use this?

All you need is the adaptor plug that fits outlets in Scotland. The device is designed for European voltage. IPods are dual voltage anyway, so even if you just took a wall charger just for it there would not be a problem -- but you still need an adaptor.

The device is designed to be used almost anywhere in the world where they have electricity--U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia, etc. No converter needed. Just the proper adapter plug.

Pretty much all electronic equipment is "world-wide" so all you need is an adaptor (a little thingy to put on the end of your plug to match whatever outlet you encounter).

Electrical equipment (hair dryer, razor, iron, kitchen appliances, etc) generally operate on only one current. If the current is different, then a converter (to convert the electrical current supply) is required.

I use a power inverter that plugs into the cigarette lighter here in the US to run my laptop. Will this work in European cars?

Yes, your car plug-in will work without problems.
