Hello! I live in Germany and have of course my bank account in euros. My niece from the states is coming to visit this summer. My question is: Would it be the best for her (get as many suros for her dollars as possible) if she would bring cash and I put it on my account (low or no fee for this at my own bank) - and then draw it out in euros with my card at the ATM? thank you for answering!

The critical question and only question is, the exchange rate your bank would give in buying US dollars. If she withdrew Euro from her US account via a debit card, she would get within 1% of the interbank rate at time of withdrawal plus any fees that her US bank would charge for withdrawing. Until that is known there is no answer to your question.
