What is the best way to travel from Chamonix to Florence? Train, planes, or automobiles? Any details would be appreciated! Thank you!

The best way without a car is to take Flixbus from Chamomix to Milan. When you get off the bus walk to the metro (it is right near where the Flixbus terminates) and take it to Milan Centrale Train station where you can catch a train to Florence.

When is this going to be?
One all-train option is train across to Switzerland to Martigny. and then onwards to Milan and then Florence. But until Sep 8 not practical.
The Flixbus I would only take as far as Torino, especially since their stop in Torino appears to be close to the Porta Susa train station. From there you have direct high speed trains to Florence (Firenze).
