I am traveling to Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Krakow, Prague and Berlin in a couple of weeks, and would like to start my visits in each city with an introductory private tour in English (2-4 hours). Do you have any recommendations, whether it all cities are thru a travel company, or individual guides. Prefer guides who are flexible and fun, with a focus on life currently in a City vs history centuries prior.

For Berlin I recommend a HoHo bus tour if you want to get an overview on day 1 because Berlin's multi-center area is huge and the top 10 sights are not close to each other. If you are more interested to be entertained than getting an informative overview a walking tour (several companies) or a private guide can help; you can find recommended names by a search for "Berlin guide" in the Germany forum.
