I will be in Copenhagen for four days before taking a Baltic Cruise. I am wanting some cell phone service while in Copenhagen just in case I need to call Copenhagen to Copenhagen, like if I have to call my hotel from the airport or call the cruise line or my credit card providers. I have an iPad so I do not need data.
I have a BLU smartphone and a prepaid plan with AT&T but in order to get their international plan, I have to go to their retail store, upgrade to a postpaid plan and then add their $10 a day travel plan. Then when I get home, I have to go back to the retail store and downgrade back to the prepaid plan. I figure it is going to cost me over $100 and it is inconvenient to have to get to one of their retail stores.
I have been doing a lot of research which is very tiring and I keep needing to take naps.
I am considering Cellular Abroad which has a relationship of some kind with National Geographic and of Mobal. Both come recommended but they are not what you would call cheap.
All that I am wanting is some talk which usually comes with text. I do not need data.
Anyone use either Cellular Abroad or Mobal?
