Has anyone used the company "Call in Europe" for mobile service while traveling in Europe?
I just stick w/what I know. I have a Vodafone cell and I love it.
I've never used anything but my Cingular phone when traveling in Europe. Reason...ELDERLY mother. I need to be able to be reached in an emergency as relates to my mom. That said I also use it occasionally to let a B&B know I'm stuck in traffic and will be late that sort of thing. Minimal cost considering airfare, hotel, food et. etc. Texting to let loved ones at home know you haven't been kidnapped by pirates also very cheap. If you have business reasons to need to talk internationally whole different thing. There are international business plans available. Just want to be able to chat it up in Europe? Go to a phone store and buy a "used phone" that comes with limited minutes. Such a phone purchased in the U.K. will not work (as I recall). Very cheap. If you are traveling with a laptop SKPE is virtually free as long as you have internet access.
Thanks.
We have Verizon and they have only 2 phones that can be used in Europe.
I wondered if anyone has used the services of the company called "Call in Europe". They advertise phones and service.
