Hello, I’m arriving first at CDG for connection to Venice….how do I find out which “hall” in the terminal I’m arriving at and then departing from? I know I’m flying into terminal 2E and flying out of 2F…..I’m trying to figure out how to get to my connection flight……I only have an hour and 5 minutes 😫
You cannot find out your arrival hall in advance.
For departure, 2F is much smaller than 2E and does not have halls, just gates - again, this will only be given just before boarding.
65 minutes is tight; I hope this is on one ticket/booking?

All on one ticket?
Yes all the same Air France ticket.
About a month ago my daughter flew from the US through CDG on her way to Venice. She had no difficulty finding her way and making her connection. She did have about 90 minutes though. She said it was crowded but otherwise very straightforward.
We have transited through CDG a few time using Delta/Air France and done the terminal 2E to 2F every time. We never had only one hour and five minutes. I always plan on about two hours to do so. However, you might be able to do it.
Still, many airports in Europe are experiencing issues with manpower and delays are more likely. Good luck.
A few years ago we connected through CDG to Venice. Prior to leaving home, I searched on easyCDG.com and found step-by-step directions, with pictures, how to get from Hall E to F. I printed them and we followed the directions, even when it said to go around a sign that said no passengers allowed. That walkway led us down to an empty security line. We made it with lots of time to spare. We arrived at our gate way before those on our previous plane. Even if you don't follow that path, I would search the site for directions to transfer. What I never want to experience again is leaving from CDG to fly home to the states. That was an awful experience!
Have a wonderful trip!
As a long time distance runner I would have no problem with this connection. It would wake me up a bit, which would be a good thing at that point.
I’m on the verge of changing my connection because I’m worried about missing it….it looks like there’s the possibility of walking from 2 of the gates and would have to take the shuttle from another….as a connection do you have to go through security and passport again??
There are airports we refuse to fly thru in the US--like O'Hare and JFK. In Europe, we try to avoid DeGaulle. Another having staffing problems right now is Amsterdam. You might go online to see a map of DeGaulle so you will know how to get there. Good luck.
Thank you all....I changed my flight arrangements and will now have a 4 hour layover, which gives me a little more peace of mind in making the connection.
Oh yes, 4 hours is a lot better, and CDG 2F has several nice eateries next to the gates to pass the time if needed!
Don't be surprised when you arrive at your gate in 2F and see another departure location posted. Some of the 2F Gates share between two different flights w/in minutes of each other. You head down the ramp and at the Y, your plane to Italy may be to the Right while the plane heading to Greece is on the Left. This happened to me when transitioning to Rome.
Enjoy your trip.
There are a number of posts detailing the difficulties of transferring from Terminal E (which you will probably enter at) to Terminal F (which takes you to most Schengen countries) in the Transportation app (including a post I wrote). At this time of year, I would consider it highly unlikely that you would be able to make this transfer in one hour and 5 minutes. When I was there in late April, it took me an hour and 15 minutes.
EDITED to add: Just saw the OP's post above about making a change. Believe me, you will not be sorry.
Oh yes 4 hours will be good. I've gotten used to CDG and I still want at least 3 hours
