Carry Ons

Im traveling to Ireland, Amsterdam & Italy in September. I was thinking of buying a pacsafe citysafe 200 bag. My question is am I allowed to pack this bag in a carry on? I didnt want to check a bag. I was just going to stuff it in my carry on, is this ok? Or will the airports not allow that? I flying american & easy jet. Any information would be helpful & appreciated.

Sure, you can pack it. In fact, you'll make them very happy if you do! And YOU'LL be very happy you did on easyJet (IF you stay under any weigh restrictions...). Why would you think otherwise - too many layers of 'stuff' in your suitcase, or what? Don't forget - any liquids, lotions, etc., in your purse need to go into your 3-1-1 bag (hand lotion, liquid breath drops, etc.) and they need to be 3oz or less.

Thank you for your response. The reason I worried was necause of tje mesh on the bottom of the ourse in in the strap. I wasnt sure they would allow that. I appreciaye your response.

Oh absolutely! I have been to Europe and Jamaica in the last year, and that is exactly what I did. In fact, on the trip to Jamaica they made an announcement that you could not have three bags, and if you have a purse...... put it in one of your two acceptable carry-ons. So, that's exactly what you should do! BTW, I also had a pacsafe purse, and put it in my tote bag, that went under the seat in front of me.

There is nothing unacceptable about the mesh in a purse strap.

Ed and Ron, I think she knows she has to put the citysafe 200 in her carryon for EasyJet, but doesn't know if she can, because of X-raying and the wire mesh in the purse.
