oh ya and one other thing can I bring a mack3 type razor aboard
The 3 things you mention are fine in carry on, do not have to go into the 1 qt bag.
Only liquids and gels must go in the bag and on the belt for inspection through security.
Everything you have listed you can bring carry on without restriction.
If you can pour it out (liquid), squeeze it out (gel) or spray it out (aerosol) it goes in the bag. Otherwise, it does not.
macboy,
For specific and detailed information, have a look at the CATSA website.
Basically, any liquid or gel products in your carry-on must be no more than 100 ml size, and ALL in the same clear zip-lok bag (some airports have a bin of approved zip-lok Bags at the entrance to the security check-in area - that's the case at YLW, but I'm not sure if that's also offered at YVR or other airports).
Regarding "solid deodorant", most of the time this should be acceptable, however this is at the discretion of screening officers so you should be prepared to either "bin it" or place it in checked luggage.
Pills such as Tylenol, Claritin & Immodium are acceptable for carry-on (AFAIK). Which parts of Europe are you travelling to? Immodium is not a "usual" travel item.
According to This Chart you should be fine with a Trac-3 Razor also (as long as the Blades are contained within a cartridge).
Happy travels!
TAKE Immodium,, I never have,, because its really fun to have to borrow some off of virtual strangers because you are sicker then a dog and cannot even leave the room. ( please note sarcasm).
I was in Rome when I needed it,, not the water,, bad food situation.
I agree, Pat. Even if the water isn't risky, you never know when you'll pick up a bug or just have a sensitivity to something you haven't encountered before. As I've said before, I wouldn't want to need it at 2 a.m. in ANY foreign country and have to try to find a store.
