carring a knife

i'm a redneck tradesman that feels neck'd without my buck knife,,in a sheath on my belt.would it be allowed as such in europe.??

You will obviously have to fly neck'd 'cause they won't let you take that on the plane as a carryon.

"Europe" is a continent, not a country.
Weapon laws differ wildly between states and are often quite complicated (e.g. here in Germany it would depend on the length-wide ratio of the blade).
If it's really important for you, I would suggest that you contact the embassies of the countries you visit.

I always buy a swiss army knife when I arrive in Europe. It's a great tool for a variety of uses. I don't carry it on my belt.

i reckon your right..an with all the different countries an all.. heck, i always hadda wonderment what the capital of europe was.. :)..

heck, i just still mite strap on the ole' knife, along with my tinfoil hat.. once they get used to me ,, i'll be allright..
