Ours is dying a slow death-must replace before our next trip. Suggestions as to which one to buy?

Get a copy of Consumers Reports annual paperback book and see what they recommend. If it isn't in the latest book, you can go to their web site online. I bought an overpriced Sony but only because it was on close out.

Debbie, Are you interested in an HD model Camcorder or something with less resolution, and in what price range? The Panasonic HC-V700 HD model gets good reviews, and was listed at a "Best Buy" on Consumer Reports. The price is in the $450 range. Hope that helps. Happy travels!
