Calling home from Europe

I just found this prepaid SIM card provider: http://www.mobi-gsm.com/english They've got plans to call the US (500 minutes) for €9.95. Always note: Incoming calls on a e.g. German SIM card in Germany are always free (regardless of provider). No charge for airtime in that case.

Is this a question? There is also skype if you can find a wifi or I get great service (surprisingly at&t) in Europe for very short calls.

I second the Skype recommendation. If you have a computer, netbook, or even (works for some) wi-fi enabled phone, you can skype call to the US for free if it is computer-to-computer and even do a video call to your friends while standing in the middle of a glorious spot in Europe!

Thanks Andreus...that would be awesome for Germany, but I wonder how it would work in other countries. This June I used Skype (when I had a wi-fi connection, every hotel we stayed in had one) to make outgoing calls to anyone I wanted. If they had a computer runing it was free. And if they did not have a computer I could call any phone in the world for only 2.3 cents? a minute. Skype worked great for outgoing calls, but a deal like you are talking about would be even better for incoming calls.
