I’m glad to see you.found a source for your story.

But the truth is you should bring your own food anytime you get on any airline anywhere. Don’t pretend like any airline is going to give you something worth eating. I always eat before I get on the plane or bring my own

Oh, by the way, they are providing food It’s not old reheated TV dinners. Personally I’m much prefer the cold options. Much more edible I will eat those. I’m not eating that reheated TV dinner.

Not necessarily. I've had some fairly good meals in business and first class (primarily British Airways) and considering the limitations involved in providing meals on a flight I've been reasonably impressed with many of them.

We've had 4 Delta flights out of Detroit in the past 3 weeks (8 in the past 5 months) and the hot food was actually good in premium select. Delta sends those passengers a selection a week or so before the flight which should normally ensure you get the meal desired. There was a problem facility which has been removed from the chain so there's no special reason at this point to be concerned about Detroit.

I'm glad to report that we didn't experience any painful ears several days ago when our connecting Delta A321 landed. The last Delta A321 flight several months back put us into such agony that we thought our ears were going to explode. The A321 flights were all in first class.

I always enjoy the inflight meal. It's my favorite part of long haul flights!

I suppose if I was flying first class or premium I might go ahead and eat the airline food because, from what I've heard, it is better in those classes. But, as someone who only flies basic economy, I'll continue to bring my own food, regardless of the airline. In my experience all airline food (in economy anyway) is not worth the time or energy to eat it.

I almost always fly basic economy or comfort plus, and the food that is served to me is just fine. I usually eat in the lounge before boarding, but depending on the timing and the flight schedule, the airline food works. Only once have I had a meal that was truly awful, and I just politely asked the flight attendant if I could purchase something else and he gave it to me for free. I think he was used to this request because he did not seem phased by it.
