I am living in Spain and will be traveling all over Europe. We were smart and got the Spain book before arriving but haven't had any luck finding other Rick Steves' books (only Lonely Planet at Casa del Libro which I don't like as much). Can anyone tell me where we can get them (and in English)? Unfortunately we don't have time to buy online and have it shipped. Thank you!
Are you talking about the time to have them shipped from the USA? I know some bookshops in Europe that do carry them either online or in their shops, but I don't know about Spain specifically although Amazon.es do, unsurprisingly.
We are already in Spain.
A year or two ago, these bookshops in Spain did carry some of Rick's books. There are other shops in other countries, but if you have a home base now, then ordering from either Amazon.es or our web site (with international delivery charge) may be simplest.

brown,
If you're travelling with an iPad, Netbook or similar devices, the easiest and quickest solution would be to just download the E-book versions of whatever guidebooks you want. They're available in Kindle, iBooks and other formats.
Laura- how long does shipping take if I buy from the website. We will be starting our travels by flying to Paris on Friday. Are there more stores there that carry the books?
Ken- thank you for the suggestion. I have downloaded a couple previews of the books through iBooks to see how I liked them. I will go that route if I can't get the hard copy book but I prefer having the book so I can mark things and flip through between suggestions and the maps, etc.
You can mark and highlight the i-books, too. I no longer carry paper guidebooks.
In Paris you can get them at WH Smith bookshop, rue de Rivoli, place de la Concorde. Metro Concorde. They have a wide selection.
From Concorde metro station, the easiest way to find them is to take the "rue Cambon" exit. The shop is on the corner of the rue de Rivoli and the rue Cambon. They're open until 7 each evening, open Sundays too.
