Bulgaria Forum?

Hey webmaster, I would like one too.............

Oh, and a Bulgaria section under the Hotel & Restaurant Reviews forum too.

Da! Makes sense to me, and would help folks with a country very worth visiting.

I have signed up for the RS Bulgaria Tour next June so would love to see it included on the Forum or elsewhere.

If Bulgaria why not Romania, too. There are smaller and less touristy countries on the Forum.

I asked the Webmaster the very same question a few weeks ago when trying to decide on the Bulgaria Tour (which, incidentally has no reviews because they won't revive the ones from the last time the tour was held in 2012 or so). The take away I got is that Rick doesn't seem to have much interest in spurring dialogue on countries which he hasn't covered in a tour book of his. I find this weird and self-defeating. If you're running a tour to Bulgaria, wouldn't you want to put some free marketing and buzz around it? I guess not (a video from 10 years ago isn't exactly a good substitute). Here you have a built-in community of readers/travelers/prior tour members and you're turning them away to other forums (and potentially other tours) to get info on Bulgaria (and Romania as well)....ignoring requests from your customers seems like an odd business practice.

Thanks for that info, Agnes. Yeah, that reasoning makes no sense at all. I mean, there's a Beyond Europe forum. Why not a forum for Bulgaria, a country to which he offers tours? It'd sure be a nice resource for any of us who are signed up for a Bulgaria tour or who are thinking of traveling there to be able to ask questions of the RS community.
